Modular Home Company in Boston, MA
ZN Custom Building started its first project in Somerville, MA over 5 years ago. Our variety of experiences in Somerville, where we fully renovated 17 condos as well as dozens of kitchens, bathrooms and decks, has prepared us to meet your custom building needs.Our company prides itself on the service we provide our customers. We know every customer has different needs and no two projects are exactly the same. Our first consultation with a customer focuses on listening to what they want to accomplish, and in subsequent meetings we provide solutions to meet their needs, as well as an accurate start and finish date and firm pricing.
We are fully licensed and insured with both Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance.
Meet The Staff
Michael Zenga, President
Michael handles all things financial at ZN Custom Building and Remodeling. He is a licensed Construction Supervisor (license # 144898). Michael founded the company in 2002. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Boston University as well as Master's Degrees from Boston University, Harvard University, and Bentley College. He lives in Middleton with his wife Danielle and dog Warren.

Attila Javor, Vice President
Attila oversees day to day operations and manages relationships with vendors and customers. He is a licensed Construction Supervisor. Attila was the second member of the team He holds a BA degree from Franklin Pierce College. He resides in Medford with his wife Regan, and multiple pets.

Alex Ottiano, Modular Homes Manager
Alex started at ZN this summer. He has been working primarily on the modular homes side of the business. He is currently pursuing his MBA from Boston University and will graduate in May of 2008. Alex has also competed in the last two Olympic Games in the sport of judo. In order to support his training and competition regiment and first couple years of education at Brown University, Alex worked framing homes in CT. His interest in construction has led him to ZN Custom Homes and Remodeling.

Mike Reardon, Modular Homes Manager
Mike started with the company in 2008. He graduated with a degree in communications from Syracuse University in 1996 and spent the next several years living outside the United States. Since his return he has become heavily involved in environmental causes and is a member of the National Resource Defenses Council of 1000. This makes him a natural fit with ZN, because of the environmental benefits of modular home building.

Stuart Watson, Operations Manager
Stuart has been with us since 2007. Although his role seems to change on a daily basis it primarily consists of project management duties, back office operations, and marketing. Stuart graduated from the University of Vermont in 2006 with a degree in Economics and Geography. After spending a year teaching and travelling, he was attracted to ZN as he learned more about the modular home building industry.
